How the day went
Simple, the way a good workshop day should be. Barbecue on the grill, cold drinks and beer, snacks on the tables, music in the background. And motorcycles everywhere — the yard was full of them, which is exactly how we like it.
It turned into a proper family afternoon too. Wives came along, kids ran around between the bikes, and the whole thing stayed relaxed from the first hour to the last. Nobody was in a hurry to leave.
What we talked about
Motorcycles, mostly. That tends to happen here. The team talked with guests about the projects currently in the works and hinted at what's coming next, without giving too much away. The rest was the kind of conversation that only happens when riders stand around a grill: routes, machines, plans for the season.
That is really what the lounge and the permanent exhibition of our championship customs are for. The workshop was never meant to be a place you only visit when something needs fixing. Days like this prove the point.
A tradition, not a one-off
This wasn't a single event to tick a box. We plan to get friends of the workshop together like this every few months. No fixed calendar, no ticket page. If you're part of the ICM circle, or want to be, you'll hear about the next one. Follow us and watch this space.
The door is open in between
You don't have to wait for the next BBQ. The rider lounge at Iron Custom Motors is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00, and you're welcome to drop in just for a coffee and a chat, no service appointment needed. Have a look at what the ICM community is about, or message us on WhatsApp at +351 917 961 230 via the contact page if you want to check we're around.
Good bikes, good people, a grill that did its job. We'll do it again.
