Inspirium was created with one specific mission: to set a world speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats. That singular objective shaped the entire motorcycle. Unlike custom projects built around visual identity first, Inspirium was developed as a focused racing machine where every decision had to serve speed, stability and mechanical efficiency.
The motorcycle secured its place in history at Bonneville Speed Week 2017, setting a world record in the 350APS-VG class. For Iron Custom Motors this was much more than a title — it was proof of technical credibility on one of the most demanding stages in motorsport.
What makes Inspirium remarkable is the combination of vintage mechanical roots with disciplined engineering. The bike was built around a 1953 IZH-49 base and a 350 cc engine, staying true to the spirit and rules of the vintage racing class. Its achievement came not from electronic advantage, but from intelligent setup, aerodynamic discipline and respect for the logic of the class.
Today, Inspirium remains one of the strongest reference points in the Iron Custom Motors story — a motorcycle that connects the brand to the legendary culture of Bonneville and to the discipline of purpose-built engineering.

This build explains the standard behind the Cascais workshop today: disciplined engineering, visual taste, documentation and the ability to solve unusual motorcycle problems.
