01 Scheduled service
Suzuki interval service — oil, filter, fluids, brake check, chain and sprocket inspection, plus model-specific items. From €150, consumables included.
Independent Suzuki workshop — diagnostics, scheduled service, valve clearance, charging-system repair, suspension and tuning for GSX-R, GSX-S, V-Strom, SV650, Hayabusa, Katana, Bandit, Boulevard and DR-Z.
Iron Custom Motors is an independent Suzuki specialist in Cascais. Suzuki builds some of the most honest, hard-working engines on the road — the GSX-R inline-fours, the SV650 and V-Strom V-twins, the Hayabusa — but honest engineering still needs people who understand it properly. That's what we are: a Suzuki-first workshop, not a generic multi-brand shop that also takes Suzukis.
The engineering culture here didn't come from nowhere. This is the team behind AMD World Championship custom builds, a Bonneville land-speed record, and the BMW Motorrad Customizing Championship 2023. We don't list that to impress you with trophies — we list it because that same standard of measurement, tolerance and finish is what now goes into a routine GSX-R valve check or a high-mileage V-Strom charging repair.
Independent means no dealer mark-up, freedom to fit OEM or quality aftermarket parts as the job actually requires, and direct communication with the person doing the work. Written estimate before anything happens, written report after.
Dealer-grade Suzuki diagnostics and the model-specific tooling that most independent workshops simply don't keep. This is the difference between a real Suzuki shop and a workshop that happens to take Suzukis.
Reads and clears Suzuki-specific fault codes, monitors live sensor data, runs ISC / throttle-body resets and checks the charging system under load.
Mercury-column and digital sync for inline-four GSX-R / GSX-S / Bandit / Hayabusa and the SV650 / V-Strom V-twins — smooth idle, clean fuelling.
Dedicated testing of the stator and regulator/rectifier under real load — the single most important check on any high-mileage Suzuki.
Fork seal, cartridge and shock service for GSX-R sport, V-Strom adventure and SV650 street geometry — sag setup and damping done properly.
From a routine oil-and-filter to a full charging-system rebuild or a track-prepped GSX-R — all of it done with Suzuki-specific knowledge.
Suzuki interval service — oil, filter, fluids, brake check, chain and sprocket inspection, plus model-specific items. From €150, consumables included.
Done properly with feeler gauges and shim selection. SV650 / V-Strom V-twin, GSX-R / GSX-S / Bandit / Hayabusa inline-four.
Stator, regulator/rectifier and battery diagnosis and replacement. The classic Suzuki repair — and the one we know best.
Full fault-code read and live data via SDS / equivalent. Fuel pump, ISC, sensors, accessory wiring and corrosion repair.
Fuel-pump diagnosis, injector cleaning, throttle-body sync and idle stabilisation on injected Suzuki; carb clean and balance on classic models.
Fork seal replacement, oil change, cartridge and shock rebuild, sag and damping setup for GSX-R, V-Strom and SV650.
Clutch inspection and replacement, chain and sprocket renewal, gearbox diagnosis. Slipper-clutch service where fitted.
Exhaust install with fuelling correction (Yoshimura, Akrapovič), suspension upgrades, ergonomics, protection and touring setup.
Years of Suzuki service mean we know where these bikes get tired. We check the high-risk items proactively — not after they leave you stranded on the way to Sintra.
the famous Suzuki weak point across GSX-R, SV650 and V-Strom generations. We load-test it before it cooks the battery and stator, and upgrade to a better-cooled unit where it makes sense.
caught with a proper load test, not a guess at the battery. We measure output cold and hot before it leaves you stranded.
a known rattle on certain Suzuki models. We diagnose it correctly instead of chasing the noise around the engine.
hot-start hesitation and idle hunting on injected models. We test the pump and reset the ISC properly via diagnostics.
basket and plate inspection measured against spec, not by feel — especially on hard-ridden GSX-R and high-mileage V-Strom.
Current production, recent past, modern classics — if it wears the S, bring it in.
GSX-R600, GSX-R750, GSX-R1000 / R. Street, track prep and dyno tuning.
GSX-S750, GSX-S1000 / GT / F, GSX-8S, GSX-8R.
GSX1300R Hayabusa (all generations), Katana 1000.
SV650 / SV650X, Bandit 650 / 1200 / 1250.
V-Strom 650 (DL650), V-Strom 800 / 800DE, V-Strom 1000 (DL1000), V-Strom 1050 (DL1050).
