Beckman is one of the motorcycles that established Iron Custom Motors at a global level. Public brand materials present it not simply as a successful project, but as a build that marked a new era for the workshop — one in which technical ambition, handcrafted execution and a clear café-racer identity translated into international recognition.
Beckman won 1st place at the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building 2016 in the Café Racer class. In 2019 it received the Best Engineering award from Spain Bike Scene at MBE Verona, reinforcing the idea that the motorcycle was not just visually compelling, but deeply respected for its technical execution.
At the heart of Beckman is a hand-built three-cylinder engine designed and manufactured by Iron Custom Motors. Combined with a large number of handmade parts (including components produced through casting and electroplating techniques), this moves Beckman out of the category of styling and into the category of deep engineering authorship.
Even years after its championship success, Beckman remains one of the strongest reference points in the portfolio — a motorcycle that still explains the DNA of the workshop. It shows what happens when concept, engineering, fabrication and finishing are held to the same uncompromising standard.

This build explains the standard behind the Cascais workshop today: disciplined engineering, visual taste, documentation and the ability to solve unusual motorcycle problems.
