Who DCF-Performance is

DCF-Performance is a Dutch group whose engine-software work goes back to 2008. Its file platform has been live since 2010, serves tuners in more than 160 countries and carries over 500,000 dyno-tested ECU files for more than 300 engine control units; the dealer network covers 21 countries. Every motorcycle file is built by their engineers for the exact software version read from the bike and tested on their dynamometers before it reaches a dealer. For motorcycles, DCF publishes files for BMW Motorrad, Yamaha, Honda, Ducati, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph, Suzuki and nearly every other brand, coverage checked per ECU.

What this changes for your motorcycle

Until now, ECU maps were one line in our upgrades list. From now on they are a full service: Stage 1 for a standard motorcycle, Stage 2 for a bike with a free-flow exhaust or a sport air filter, throttle and limiter maps for rideability, and track options discussed openly — including what is and is not road-legal. The procedure is the same for every bike: a mechanical check first, the ECU read through the diagnostic socket or on the bench, the untouched original file saved, the DCF calibration written, then a test ride with data logging. Back to standard is always one visit away, because the original map stays archived with your job.

What we do not promise

Three things we say before any file is ordered, and repeat here. We do not quote horsepower: every engine, exhaust and fuel is different, and the result is read in the logs and on the test ride, not in a headline. A remap sharpens a healthy engine, so a bike with a mechanical problem is repaired first. And a tune changes the manufacturer's software, so the warranty question and the legality of a particular modification are discussed in the first conversation, before the plan — not after.

How to ask

Send the model, the year and what is fitted on WhatsApp +351 917 961 230; we confirm DCF coverage for your ECU and come back with a written estimate. The full description — what a file changes, the eight options, the six steps and the questions riders ask — is on the new page: motorcycle ECU remapping and chip tuning.
